the XVth Encuentros Abiertos de Fotografia will be held in August 2008 .
Argentinean and foreign photographers may submit their work until November 30th 2007 at the Argentinean School of Photography.

The outcomes will be released in March 2008.

Foto Arte 2007 is a lively, well-established international photography conference, festival and series of seminars that attracts great talents and photography lovers from South America and from all over the world. As an important component of this event, photographers can meet there with well-respected photography professionals (international museum curators, gallerists, publishers), to show their portfolios during intense, scheduled formal reviews. Over a busy period of four days (October 18-21), these emerging and established photographers get creative feedback, constructive criticism, business advice — and hopefully an exhibition, gallery representation, or broad exposure through publications in print or on the web.

7th International Festival of Photography in Lodz, Poland
13-31 May 2008
The International Festival of Photography in Lodz is the biggest event of this kind in Poland. It is organized by Lodz Art Center located in XIX-century factories. Over 50 exhibitions, meetings, auction, workshops, publications, slide-shows and portfolio reviews. Fotofestiwal is a member of Photo Festival Union and the Festival of Light.
Open Programme is the most important part of the festival. From September to December photographers from all over the world submit propositions of exhibitions. Jury chooses ten best exhibitions to be presented at the festiwal in May 2008. The best exhibition will be awarded with Grand Prix of the Fotofestiwal.

From 22 September until 21 October 2007, the Foto Festival Mannheim-Ludwigshafen-Heidelberg will take place for the second time in the Rhine-Neckar conurbation. Christoph Tannert, director of Künstlerhaus Bethanien in Berlin, has agreed to curate the 2007 exhibition. After the internationally renowned Fototage Herten moved to Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg and got off to a successful fresh start in the Rhine-Neckar conurbation in 2005, the Festival has been restructured for September 2007 under a new name: Foto Festival Mannheim-Ludwigshafen-Heidelberg.
